Aero Leg Table Prototype | Limited Edition for Carpenters Workshop Gallery

The 3.6m long carbon fibre tabletop with its super thin edge rests on aero shaped legs positioned at each extreme corner. The carbon fibre legs are clearly separate from the top creating a sense of precariousness and lightness of form. The exposed carbon fibre skin is the structure. The entire table is finished in recycled carbon fibre, sanded semi matt and waxed. The underside of the table is painted a gloss black so that it reflects its environment making it less visible. 

Fabricated from high modulus carbon fibre formed and cured under elevated pressure and temperature in a large autoclave for composites.
