The starting point was the classic tapered lamp shade, but then I sketched over and softened the edges to form a soft gentle conic form. This form became perfect to be hand blown into an opal three ply glass shade which provides a warm, gentle glow ideal for ambient lighting.

Every detail has been carefully considered, including a three-stage touch dimmer.
