Designed to work as a single seat or multiple configurations with or without backs. Created with residential and contract use in mind. It has grown into a comprehensive modular seating system with arms, trays and power options.

Overlap | Sofa Collection for SCP, London

Sax | Low Table for SCP

A glass two-tier low table. The lower glass shelf is the structural component which holds the chrome steel legs in position. The upper tier of glass top simply rests on the neoprene pads. Because of the weight of the glass, the small diameter pads securely grip the glass.

Tactile | Cabinet Collection for Punt Mobles

A cabinet with no handles; a simple touch initiates the opening of a door or a drawer. The face of the doors and drawers are set deep into the frame. The tall and slender legs emphasise the effect as they are a continuation of the frame which wraps around the cabinet.

Solid | Table Light for Case

Solid Table Lights for Case. A low profile hand blown opal glass shade sits upon a pure cylinder of Carrara or Nero marble. A small stainless steel disc on the side of the body acts as a touch dimmer controlling the light.

A collection of modular and free-standing cabinets. The concept was to design a cabinet with a uniform facade, unrelated to the composition of drawers and doors.

Low profile modular sofa with plump soft feather cushions. The design is driven by the form of the seat back and arm rest which allow it to work for all possible modular layouts. Set a trend when designed in 1995.

Line | Taps for rvb Belgium

The design focus here is on the ergonomics of the mechanism. Flow is adjusted by raising and lowering the bar. Temperature is adjusted and by rotating the bar. Geometrically it is a wide line, crossing a circle.

A collection of surface mounted downlights in pure cylindrical and conical shapes. The LED light source allowed me to use delicate and flammable materials.

Machined from the central core of marble left over from the production of my Solid marble pendants. The light uses LED G9 lamps to produce a subtle diffused glow at the base. Arranged as singles and as multiples.

Surface | Carbon Fibre Tables for Established and Sons

A collaboration with Formula 1 Designer John Barnard RDI, who designed the very first carbon fibre F1 race car for McLaren. The table design began as an experimental project to exploit the unique properties of carbon fibre. Our concept was to take the design of a normal table, one with legs at each extreme corner, and to push it to the absolute. The tapered legs blend smoothly into the 2mm thick wafer thin edge. Uniquely, the structural unidirectional carbon fibre is seen on the top surface. Constructed from high modulus carbon fibre formed and cured under elevated pressure and temperature in an autoclave.

Based on a sculptural composition of geometric objects: a vertical line, a large disc, a cone and a hemisphere. It features an innovative AC LED module, allowing the pendant to be fitted directly to mains without a driver or transformer.

Pure and simple geometric design, based on a patented adjustable lampholder which allows the marble or wood shade to be fitted after wiring. This enables ease of installation and adjustment to allow the shade to hang vertically.

Surface Chair | Carbon Fibre Chair for Established & Sons

A collaboration with Formula 1 Designer John Barnard RDI. Following the success of the Surface table we were commissioned to design a chair to complement the table. We set out to match the super slim aesthetic of the table, with slim legs connecting at the extreme thin edge of the seat shell. Attaching the slender tapered legs at the extreme edge required the development of some complex carbon fibre reinforcement.
