Sussex | Cabinet Collection for Punt Mobles, Valencia.

A collection of modular cabinets, available as freestanding and wall mounted.  The concept was to design a cabinet with a uniform facade, unrelated to the composition of drawers and doors. When I was living in Sussex I saw weatherboard buildings daily. The tall fisherman’s huts in Hastings, built to store and mend fishing gear, are wonderful examples. Every day, driving my kids to and from school I passed a beautiful black barn where the façade was ruined by the ugly rusting metal door. I thought it would look better if the door was made of weatherboard to create a consistent facade.  Back in the studio with Earl Grey tea, digestive biscuits and a white sheet of paper, Sussex for Punt was born.
